Let The Ark Return

Written by mitziyonng

Once again, John the Baptist ministry is being raised to declare the day of Divine visitation. You can now hear the voice of one crying in the wilderness of this world – “Prepare ye the way…” We need Saints whose lives proclaim their sainthood. To escape the error of salvation by works, we have fallen into the gross error of salvation without obedience – obedience to the faith. Believing everything ardently but obeying nothing at all. We profess obedience but act disobedience. But obedience is the only proof of belief. Faith leads to obedience. A truth not practiced, is a truth not believed. Saintly life secret is: “whatsoever He tells you to do, do it”.
Corruption has crept into the holy place. There is much worldliness and idol worship in the churches today. The pulpit is weak and the pew has decayed. The abomination that causes destruction is already standing in the holy place. The priests are no more teaching the people the difference between the holy and the unholy, and the clean and the unclean. They strengthen the hands of the evil doers, so that no one turns back from his evil ways. Films and football have taken over prayer and the word. The people are now feasting and playing instead of fasting and praying. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Many are now seeking happiness instead of holiness. Instead of revival we have riots. Oh that we enter into prayer – conditions instead of air-conditions. It was King David who said, “………He makes me to lie down in green pasture”. Permit me to say crazily here, for I think I am beside myself; that it is dangerous even to sit down in those green grasses these perilous days let alone lying down. Because they have been infested with green snakes. We have many pulpit bandits these days. Oh, watch and pray, the days are evil. “They have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they have laid Him”. We have become so worldly that even the Owner of the church is outside, knocking at the door, begging to be let in. Baptized paganism is now the popular religion. I may sound satirical here, but don’t judge me so. My heart is vexed by what I see and hear. How are the mighty fallen! Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Ashkelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph. How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle and the weapons of war perished!.
I pray our Deliverer to deliver you from movie watching. You have wasted much of your precious time watching movies. Even great generals in the faith have replaced prayer and the study of the word with films. Did I hear you say, evil? Yes, it is a great evil of the last days. “…Lovers of the created more than lovers of The Creator”. You too worship idols. Guilty or not guilty? You have forgotten the names of the prophets having replaced them with the names of football stars. Instead of prayer or evangelical teams, we now have football teams. Wahala!
Much of what we hear from the pulpits today is materialism coated with some Scriptures to support the flippancy, rapacity and kleptomania. The Saviour never worked a miracle except to supply a genuine necessicity. He never worked a miracle to gratify a desire for luxury. He never promised His followers the luxuries of the World. His pledge is that their need shall be supplied. And He gives something better than worldly goods – the abiding comforts of His presence. Heathen priests have changed their robes but not their heart and have taken over the pulpits. And what do you expect from them. Whether they wear white robe or black suit, all are the same. (Na de same people). These Gospel peddlers are busy teaching wrong doctrines or overemphasizing on the right ones thereby making them ineffective. Who is in-charge, familiar spirits or the Holy Spirit? Sometimes the devil will stretch the truth a little further so as to torment people by making it a burden. The church had lost the message and the Ministry. The teachers are busy “teaching for doctrine the commandments of men”, having laid aside the commandments of Our Creator. These deviants are knowingly or unknowingly promoting “the beast” and “the mark of the beast”. Could it be that the work of the kingdom of heaven has been betrayed into the hands of its enemies? Men of theology devoid of truth. And we seem to have adjusted to this. People don’t expect anything more from their religion expect a little earthly help and a social gospel that makes them comfortable in the synagogues of man’s religion, full of pride and formalism. The setting aside of the divine precepts; or the mingling of human requirements (Tradition of the Elders) with the divine precepts gives rise to thousands of springs of evil, discord, hatred, wickedness until the world becomes one vast field of crises. Those who build the temple are to build according to the pattern shown on the mount. In rejecting the truth, men reject its Author. In trampling upon the law of the Most High, they deny the authority of the Lawgiver. Those who teach the people to lightly regard the commandments of the Creator sow disobedience and will reap disobedience. They are savage wolves who came in among us, not sparing the flock, and men who have risen up from among us, speaking perverse things to draw disciples after themselves. Even Satan can preach and rebuke people for sinning.
“Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the later times some (many) shall depart from THE FAITH, giving heed to deceiving spirits, and doctrines of devils”. Marvelous beyond expression is the blindness of the people of this generation. The farer a man is from the Holy One, and the more inadequate his conception of the divine character and requirements, the more righteous he appears in his own eyes. This is the bane of today’s religious world. Converts gained in this condition have little desire to listen to the word of life. Unless a religious service has something of a sensational character, it has no attraction for them. Their satisfaction is only in emotional excitement. The outward splendor, pomp and ceremony that mocks the longings of the sins-sick soul. A religion of externals is attractive only to the un-renewed heart. With every truly converted soul, the relationship with his Maker and eternal things will be the great topic of life. The teachers of the people should know that only those who have a personal connection to the Source of wisdom are able to understand or explain the holy Scriptures in this world of sin and sorrow. A world gone mad with material wealth and comfort, comfortably having worship service without divine presence. They should teach their people “the wisdom of the just”, and make them a people prepared for the Majesty of heaven. The old prophets and apostles, like Elisha and Paul, were poor making many rich; those of our time are rich making many poor. What a strange contrast. I know that reforming the present day corrupt and proud dignitaries of the temple, great men rich in the pride of rank and power, clothed in costly garments is next to impossibility; these have become too familiar with the Great Shepherd of the sheep and His word such that it no longer moves them, but effort must be made. Refusing to talk, kills elders: refusing to listen kills children. He who has ears to hear let him hear.
In the instruction given to Moses for the ancient Israel by the Almighty, he placed restrictions upon their association with idolaters; but this teaching was misinterpreted. It was intended to prevent them from conforming to the practices of the heathen, but they used it to build up a wall of separation between Israel and all other nations. The more rigid they grew, the less of divine love they manifested. They measured their holiness by their zeal in temple activities while their hearts were filled with pride and hypocrisy; not knowing that activity may be a hiding place from reality. A child’s activity supersedes that of the adults, but estimating growth merely in terms of activity sets up a characteristics of childhood. With too many of the people, obedience was not prompted by love for the Creator. They rendered outward service to Him as means of attaining greatness. It is the cause, not the suffering that makes a genuine martyr.
Even today, many worshipers do not attach themselves to Him for a worthy purpose but for the hope of temporal benefits. These mechanical worshippers take pride in their numerical and financial prosperity while the inward man is left to famish. They do not seek Him who is “The Glory of Israel” and “the Light of the gentiles”_ that great LION OF ZION Ostentatious worship is the order of the day. But it is disastrous to remain in the wedding hall “without the wedding garment” till the King comes.
In the place of love we now have lust and have replaced passion with fashion. Instead of deliberating we are debating. In the place of agonizers we have organizers and instead of interceding we are interfering. Oh what a decay. Weakness in the pulpit has caused wickedness in the pew. Vampires have become vergers. The accent of those before us was on prayer, our own is on paying. Prayer has become a Cinderella. We don’t hear, “how many have prayed” all we hear is how many have paid? Instead of Pray! Pray! Pray! We hear Pay! Pay! Pay! Hmmm, what shall we do? Before us is either revival or funeral. Structures have replaced Scriptures and we have more constructions than instructions. If our preachers today can minimize traveling and start travailing there will be life in the assembly. We need up-reach more than out-reach. Victory is won in the secret place of prayer before the preacher’s feet touch the pulpit. It is in the secret place that we obtain the needed afflatus which moves the heart and persuades it to believe. Is not eloquence, logic and learned argument. Though these too may be needed. There is a life that can be ministered regardless of the fact that you may not be educated, eloquent, or even a preacher. You may be able to hold the people spell bound with talent, eloquence and stentorian argument, yet leave them lifeless. You may shout and scream and stir up the people with blarney until they begin to yell and jump and become physically exhausted, yet go home empty in their spirit, starving for the living bread. But, there is a MINISTRY OF LIFE. As you minister, people will find themselves ascending right into a place of glory and victory. There are many preachers today but the Creator is looking for ministers of His word. You cannot by yourself choose to be a minister of the word of life. Only the Owner of the word can choose those He will use to speak His word. The owner of the vineyard chooses those who will work for Him and with Him; CARRIES OF HIS ECHO and power.
More and more people are in pursuit of power. But for what purpose is this pursuit? For affluence and influence? To gratify the flesh? To have somewhat to boast? But the Holy Spirit does not fall on the flesh. It is written “the Holy Anointing oil shall not be poured on man’s flesh” Calvary must precede Pentecost. Unlike Caesar’s coin, divine services are not to bear the image and superscription of men. The flesh must not be seen. What is your intention? Personal attraction, fame, or wealth? Then go for the strange anointing oil. The Almighty does not enlist men for His work. He simply sends whom He chooses. Saul of Tarsus cannot withstand His selection, and Simon the sorcerer cannot buy it with money. Anyone wearing fleshly shoes or clothed with King Saul’s armor cannot stand on this holy ground. Let all who had married new wife, bought a new field or built a new house. Let all who are fearful and afraid…all who are still earthly minded go back.
Let me say it emphatically here that, if the Holy Spirit does not descend and remain upon a man’s life, in vain does he stand upon the pulpit. The work which has its root in human ability and natural talents, even at the very best of it is totally unacceptable to Elshaddai. Intellectual sermons are sweet but they don’t change lives. It is work of the flesh. And everything born of the flesh is flesh. It has no life and cannot impart life. PREACH THE WORD, stop prevaricating. “It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh profits nothing”. Whether it is sin of the flesh or righteousness of the flesh, it profits nothing. It has no life and cannot give life. That which is born of the flesh, whatever it may be is flesh and can never be spiritual. Whether it is the flesh in the pulpit; the flesh in the band; the flesh in prayer or the flesh in doing any good thing; the divine judgment is “…it profits nothing”. Only those who have sat before the Chief Shepherd and listened, can stand before men and minister His word effectively. How much you can speak His word depends on how much you have learned inwardly. Only he who has drunk of the water of life can have stream of living water flow out of his belly.
Love, lust, sermon, and prayer of the flesh avails nothing. At times, activity may be a hiding place from reality. We are making too much noise about the worship of the Creator but displaying so little of its reality. But the judgment remains that, the tree that fails to bear good fruit shall be cut down. Action should speak louder than voice. Light blows no horn, it simply shines. Not eloquence without character. A fool must realize that one ounce of gold worths more than a trailer load of straw after the burning of fire. And that religion was not meant to make us to rise to popularity but to rise from the grave. When the purpose of a thing is not known, the abuse of the thing is inevitable. In heaven’s history, many of the greatest heroes were men and women who were not known to the World. These walked the path of holiness, a field hardly fraught with riches and glory. They practiced self abnegation and enjoyed deprivation. Whoever wants the honour of heaven must disregard the honour of men. The world certainly did not in the past, even as it does not now esteem the righteous highly. Only the wicked are renowed or has a name. A morbid desire for fame and recognitition widens the gates of hell. The soul that would serve the Creator must first be delivered from the power of the stomach, wealth, fame and authority. Then and only then will he be ready to go and sacrifice in the wilderness. Your faith has to cost you something, otherwise you have to question its value. Let us be followers of Him, concerning Whom it is written; “He humbled Himself”, and again “He made Himself of no reputation”. In divine work the highest service is imitation. Doing as He did. The 24 elders in heaven, in other to worship correctly, left their thrones (authority), cast down their crowns (glory and honour) and threw themselves on the ground (rejection of self). A true worshiper must empty himself of self and the world. Those who are willing to face this hard truth now will not suffer loss later. The ear that hears the rebukes of life will abide among the living. But those who refuse to feel the punishment in the threatening shall feel the threatening in the punishment.
To all those who are truly called to untie the knots of today’s problems, and to preach cosmos in a chaotic world, I say: the work is solemn, therefore do not trifle. The task is difficult, therefore do not relax. The opportunity is brief, therefore do not delay. The path is narrow, therefore do not wander. The price is glorious, therefore do not faint. Your office is the most important office into which human beings had ever been called, and is second to that of the Son of Man. We shall have protection proportionate to the necessities of the road and battle. A crown may not be beautiful but it commands authority. Always be in the battle field. Let no day pass without you striking a blow for holiness. We have no enemies but the enemies of our righteous King. Our fights are not against men but against spiritual wickedness. He who sent us said He will go with us to fight for us. Since we are on His side, He is on our side. Onward you soldiers of the faith, your eternal reward will prove worthy of a life of warfare. To enhance your success, labour more than others. Be studious. It takes a studious man to achieve a glorious ministry. If you cannot see more than others, nobody will follow you. Give yourself to reading books. Prophet Daniel said, “… I understood by books that seventy years was determined…” and Apostle Paul ask Timothy to bring his books while coming. Where are your own books?. If a sermon is worth preaching, it is worth a lot of care in preparation. Our message so important that we can not afford to run the risk of being detected even in a minor inaccuracy. A preacher cannot afford to get the reputation of being unreliable even in little things. So, we must not preach what we are not sure of. If we attempt to do so, we shall either fall into errors and lead people astray, or we shall preach other people’s convictions, and our preaching will be insincere and lack unction. Let us alter the altar, let those who cannot pay the price leave it alone. Let all the priests that are present be sanctified… holy priesthood no longer contaminated with the rituals of Babylon, nor the taints of preaching for gain or for show. Only those who obey the rules become rulers. The more of heaven there is in our lives, the less of earth we shall covet. The life and reward of a saint is grace here and glory hereafter. Let our mind be stirred up to persevere in the holy war, for the reward of victory is great. It is our duty to reach the multitudes who are in ignorance and error. Let us learn from our great Example to suffer and labour until we can say, “it is finished”. Our victory shall come at last and that means forever, for nothing can come after the last. Our sighing shall be turned into singing. All is well that ends well.
Where are the ‘Elders?’ Let them put on sackcloth and mourn before the Most Holy One. May be He will answer and send us a true revival. We should not be laughing when we have every reason to weep. Our children have been taken captives. The ‘bread’ and the ‘wine’ are no more. The hilarity in our churches is not the joy of the Holy Spirit. In most cases, it is the song of Babylon. It is an attempt of the enemy to lull the Saints to sleep and cause them to forget their heritage in the Spirit. Music and musicians have replaced worship and worshippers in the churches. And most of the noise that people make in the name of worship and prayer are either carnal or demonic. This is Babylon. It is religious madness. Where is the doctrine of sanctification?.
Babylon means “confusion”. It speaks of this whole world – system, political as well as religious. The whole world has been deceived. As Israel, we have lost our glory, beautiful temple, and fallen from our position as a “holy nation” and a “royal priesthood”. We have been taken captive at the hands of the world, the flesh and the Devil. We then try to replace the joy of the Holy Spirit (the joy of Salvation) with the joy of music and false power demonstrations. A good sermon without power demonstration is an unconfirmed message. A witness without evidence. But false power demonstration is getting approval or confirmation from the devil. It is demon-stratagem; Meaning that the demons are demonstrating their kingdom strategies. SHINE YOUR EYES. Nevertheless, John the Baptist did no miracles yet his ministry was successful.
David, you will recall, drove the evil spirits away from Saul as he played music but we invoke them upon us by our Babylonian music. Let the elders help the younger to understand what I have said about music. For at the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, many of our children have fallen down and worshiped the golden image that king Nebuchadnezzar had set up. While the Saints seek true spiritual worship, the apostate church has gone in the opposite direction with programs, entertainment, formality, jazz bands, and even rock and roll dances in the church just to attract the people. I am not suggesting that our meetings should be melancholic in nature, but we should avoid worldliness. The Messiah turned water into wine but we are turning wine into water. To gather and keep a crowd should not be our aim. The Chief Shepherd does not measure success by statistics as men do. It has never been in the divine purpose that His people grow into a great powerful organization. His true congregation is to remain a “little flock”, but mighty in faith and love. Its continuity should not be a succession of proud, wealthy and powerful leaders, but by a succession of truly converted and faithful people. With the people of this age, the value of things is estimated by outward show. As religion has declined in power, it has now increased in pomp and pageantry. We magnify little things and belittle great things. It is written: “these signs shall follow them that believe…” Signs followed those that went before us, but today we are following signs and wonders, and have missed the way. We value divine gift as means of worldly gain. The priests who minister in the churches have lost sight of the purpose of the service they render. Satan knows that stealing sheep from the flock one by one is time killing, so he lures the shepherd away and the flock follows. The shepherds are usually the first to bleed when the wolf comes after the sheep, because Satan always seems to aim his biggest guns at the man on the lead of spiritual warfare. Even as it is written; “strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter”
Remember us, oh our Rock of Salvation and save us again. By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down. Yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. Have mercy upon us. Do not cast us away from Your presence. Restore us to Your true Temple and true worship again. May You command again “LET THERE BE LIGHT”. Make us to see a light from heaven that will make us blind to the things of this world. Deliver us from the sights that dazzle, the tempting sounds we hear and from the murmurs of self-will. May you be magnified, not only as the mighty One of past generations, but also as the mighty One of our present experiences? Let it not be said that we have a Power that cannot save us. How is it that we who began in the spirit are now ending in the flesh? Having been saved from sin we are now lost in religion and the pulpits have become fool-pits. To sit idle and quiet while a house is on fire is a criminal act. The greatest problem of our time is that while the world is sleeping in the darkness, the saints are sleeping in the light. “…They all slumbered and slept”. We have gone beyond sitting in Zion, we are lying down slumbering. Please if you awake, help to awaken others. He who went about doing good, comes to us when we are serious, not when we are hibernating, or in somniloquy and somnabulism. In the time past, when the old order priesthood ministry under Eli became blind and heavy with flesh, a little boy, prophet Samuel was raised up. We need the Samuels of our time to deliver us from our spiritual decay. Instead of “house of prayer”, we now see “den of thieves”. Churches and preachers fight each other, while the world and the devil look on and laugh. Wolves troubling lambs is natural, but for lambs to fight among themselves is an obnoxious act. The ultimate release of the power of destruction against the household of faith is when Satan uses the saints to attack one another. Arrows of accusation and slander abound on the lower levels of the holy mountain. In this our time, the gathering of church workers is more of a coven than a synod. The prophets are insolent and treacherous people. The priests have polluted the sanctuary; they have done violence to the law of the Most High. It is midnight in the history of the church and man cannot resolve our problems. Only divine deliverance will suffice. Upon this generation has this prophecy been fulfilled: “for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables”. The city of Babylon was built in the east, and the gate of the holy temple in Jerusalem was built facing the east: meaning that before you enter the temple, you must turn your back on Babylon. No two ways about it. One need that is common both to the overt sinner and the erring saints is repentance. Repentance does not only reject the wrong but it returns to the right. REPENT OR YOU PERISH. The narrow way may not be a popular way, but it is the only safe way. The truth remains that: “Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it”.
These are the last days. The days are truly evil. Men’s heart is failing them for the fear of what is coming upon the earth. The outlook certainly is dark, to say the least from the view point of the natural man, who cannot interpret the handwriting on the wall. The news media will tell you what is happening but cannot tell you “why”. But weep not. Nothing has gotten out of hand with the Most High. There is still hope. There is a glory that is coming. The gates of hell shall not prevail. The Ark must return to its proper place and the glory of the Ancient of Days will fill the Temple.
The cleansing of the temple was of prime importance in the life and ministry of the Messiah when in the flesh He was here. The Temple was messed up at His time. Everything was commercialized. The priesthood was making merchandize of men’s souls until the temple became A DEN OF THIEVES. It is interesting to note that He did not only drive out those that sold in the temple but also those that bought. This may seem strange, but beloved, let me warn us that not only the present day corrupt priests who have commercialized the worship of the Creator but also those people who flock to them and give them their support to keep them going will be kept out of the temple soon. Commercial pastors can only have financial but not spiritual members. We play religious games in market places and make merchandise of men’s souls. Ananias and his first lady Saphira will demand an apology if nothing is done soonest about the corruption prevalent in the congregations. We are mighty without meekness, and have power without purity. There are more magic than miracles. These religious magicians, like their Egyptian counterparts only succeed in increasing the troubles of the land by their enchantments. It appears as though one does not need to be connected to the True Vine and be filled with the Holy Spirit these days to do the work of the kingdom of heaven. Once we are connected to the internet, have electronic gadgets and academic degrees or anointing from hell and powerful financiers, we are ready for work. What a deceit. What a tragedy. Such is work of the flesh. And as Ishmael must be cast out. Sometimes, like young Moses, we think that our natural leadership ability, eloquence and degrees from Egypt’s best universities have qualified us, but not so. Better fail in doing a right thing than succeed in doing a wrong thing. The saints who have put on the harness of their Master cannot get excited by the many religious games of our time. These disciplined saints run not after every new revelation or feed on every opportunity to engage in seemingly good and profitable religious activities. This special company of saints is waiting for the voice of their Master. They will move in their time, when the Master speaks. They will move in their time, with great purpose and great responsibility. They do not fight a battle which their Lord does not command, nor work in a farm wherein he is not the husband man. Where He leads, they follow. Their sustenance comes from doing the Father’s will. It pays to be in the confining limitations of His harness. Don’t be deceived, because when programs, methods, and money produce impressive results, there is an inclination to confuse human success with divine blessing.
Through familiarity with sin, man had become blinded to its enormity. He had fostered the evil spirit of avarice until it has become the ruling motive of his life. This has earned him depletion instead of repletion, depreciation instead of appreciation and retrogression instead of progression. I see that even the saints are living in this mistake of thinking that blessing is synonymous with money, but it is not. Even progress and prosperity are not; for the one who is progressing or prospering is not he who is busy acquiring wealth but he who is fulfilling his purpose on earth. An athlete who is off track is not progressing no matter how fast he is running. An ignorant spectator may applaud him but the Judge will disqualify him at last. Religion is not meant to make us rise to greatness in this world but to rise from the grave.
I thank the King for the “Small Cords” that He is binding together for use in our days. Moses got us out of Egypt, Eliyah must come to get Egypt out of us. The Temple must be cleansed and the Ark must return. Let us stop looking down for the anti-messiah, let us look up for the real Messiah. Before we think of what we will enjoy in the kingdom of heaven, let us first think of our fitness for the kingdom. Know that the Messiah is building mansions only for those who are building their character after His divine similitude. We may have a charming personality, we maybe culturally acceptable, we may be socially enviable and socially correct. Our church attendance maybe above average, and our financial support of the church and the poor maybe on a sacrificial basis, but this is not enough. It maybe work of the flesh. Make peace with your Creator first and then go on with good works out of a clean heart. Let Him “create in you a clean heart and renew the right spirit within you”. That you be not like they who have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam, and have perished in the rebellion of Korah. May He expose your secret sins. Exposure comes, not for the sake of punishment, but for the sake of salvation. Fortunate is the man who is exposed early in life. Pity the man who is smart enough to hide his sin until the judgment. Disaster (pain) is heaven’s megaphone to arouse a deaf and sleeping world. My fellow soldiers, it is written: “sin shall not have dominion over you”. Keep yourself pure. Know that a man who is held by only one chain is still a captive.
They that are in the flesh cannot please the FATHER of Spirit. For they that are in the flesh do mind the things of the flesh. Death is the secret of life. Those who have not died cannot live. Only the dead has conquered pride and greed. A motivating force in the life of a saint is his desire to do the things that please the Father. Pleasing the Father is a driving force in him. In the days of king Hezekiah of Israel, a command was given: “carry out the filthiness out of the holy place”. Filthiness in the holy place?. Surely not! But it was so then, even as it is today. Filthiness in the holy place must be removed. The flesh must be dealt with before the fruit of the Holy Spirit can be cultivated. It must be brought into subjection so that the fruit of the spirit can survive, because the works of the flesh are like weeds that choke the fruit. The greatest battle in the life of a saint is not his battle with Satan, but it is the battle with himself. To overcome self is to gain spiritual freedom. No other victory we can gain will be so precious as the victory gained over self. “Man is insatiable”, is best in the things of the Spirit. Let your hunger for your Maker be ever increasing. Spiritual hunger is a measure of spiritual health. If you are not hungry for more of Him, (oh that I may know Him), your spiritual life is under attack. In spiritual things, the more you eat, the hungrier you become; the richer you grow, the poorer you feel. “Give me more” is always the cry. The way of the spirit is to reach for the tops of the mountains. The way of the carnal mind is to settle there and build tabernacles. But the way of the spirit is to press forward for higher grounds – new dimensions in the Spirit, until, “Where I am, there my servant will also be” “To be conformed to the image of His Son” should be the heart desire of every true worshipper.
The gift of the Spirit reveals divine power while the fruit reveals divine nature. It is not how many miracles or good works that we do in our ministry, it is how much the Father is glorified. The fruit glorifies the Father. “Herein is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit……” The highest evidence that one belongs to the Messiah is a life style that reveals the character of the Messiah, not signs and wonders. We lack “men of good report, zealous of good works, full of Holy Spirit and wisdom…”. in whom, “we are confident of better things, the things that accompany salvation”. Great reproach has been cast upon the work of the Holy Spirit by the errors of men.
As perfect as the work of the Father was in creation and as perfect as the work of the Son in our redemption, so perfect will the work of the Holy Spirit be in our sanctification. The first man (Adam) was created on the sixth day of creation. Even now, on this sixth day of divine program, the Creator is forming His man who will be conformed to the image of His dear Son. That “perfect man”, “the temple of His body” is now under construction. We have seen the Head, the body is being formed. He is a many membered “one new man”, the new creation man. The first Adam had a wife and so must the second or last Adam have. For it is not good for man to be alone. A helper good for him must be sought. Eve was deceived in a garden of plenty. The bride of the Lamb must be trained, purified, refined, pruned and well harnessed, because she will reign with her Husband. She should be progressively disciplined by a sanctifying process in order to bring her to glory, because with her, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the king of the Kingdom (her husband) will form the governing and administrative staff of His kingdom. What happened in the garden of Eden must not happen again. She must be purified in the furnace of affliction until everything of the flesh (the old Adam) is purged away. This price she must pay to be the Lamb’s wife. She is presently in apprenticeship for the throne. Soon, the two shall become One
The kingdom of heaven is established in a life when that life comes under the governing influence of the Holy Spirit. And this alone can provide the answer to the crookedness of our self-life. He builds in us the habit of obedience to the laws of the kingdom. Humility and submissiveness are the keys of the kingdom life. You must be a prisoner of the King who could no longer make his own decisions or choose his own course, or run his own life. No more “going where you wished” but now “you will stretch out your hands and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish”. The command, “follow Me” you must obey and make His footsteps your pathway. It is one thing to have the Holy Spirit, it is another to submit to His governance. May the Holy Father make you complete in every good work to do His will. Working in you that which is well pleasing in His sight.
LET THE SAINTS LEARN TO OBEY.
The heart of the matter is the matter of the heart
