The True Worship

“You worship you know not what you worship, We know what we worship: for salvation is from the Jews” John 4:22

Millions of people on earth today are worshipers. Unfortunately, without knowing this, they are like the Samaritan woman in the Bible to whom Yahshua spoke the above words.

Every Sunday, millions of people, all over the world, troop into the churches to worship. Every friday, a greater number of worshipers also rush to the mosques to attend the Jum’at worship.

The Hindus, Buddists, Taoists, Confucianists, Shintoists, Bhai, Hare Chrishna and the Zerostainists are not left out in this endless SEARCH for worship, or shall I say true worship?

WORSHIP OR TRUE WORSHIP

The fact that millions of people, of different religions are worshipers can never be denied. But who they are worshiping is a serious issue that has not been satisfactorily addressed.

If the truth must be told then the truth about which millions all over the world are worshiping can never be avoided for too long, if what the great teacher Yahshua the Messiah stated above is anything to go by.

Is it possible for billions to be worshiping without knowing what or who they worship? Is it possible the greater number of worshipers all over the world may not he worshiping the true Creator?
Yes, it is possible for worshiper or worshipers, to be worshiping, but not the true Creator. This is attested to by the Jewish Prophet Eliyah when he confronted the Israelites at that notable contest between the true worshiper and the false worshipers at Mount Carmel. Thus, he said to the Israelites,” how long halt ye between two opinions? If Yahweh be the Mighty One, follow (worship) Him, but if Baal, then follow (worship) him…” 1 kg 18:21
The greater number of the devotees that gathered that day were Baal worshipers, while Eliyah was worshiping the true Creator. Who is Baal? Baal is the Canaanite Sun deity still being worshipped all over the world today by different names on a day dedicated to Baal (sun-god), i.e Sun-day!

Yahweh the Almighty Creator made it clear that billions of worshipers in this world are worshiping the sun, moon, star and the planets. He has however separated unto Himself, the Jews and the Israelites to worship Him alone see Deut 4:19. 20, Psa 147-19-20, Micah 415, Rom 3 1-2, 9:1-5.
THE MARK OR IDENTITY

The last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, gives us the general description of the mark or identity of the true worshipers.

“Here is the patience of the saints Here are they that keep the Commandments of Yahweh, and the faith of Yahshua” Rev 14.12. This mark or identity consist of two main basic points
“keep the commandments of Yahweh” (i.e the Ten Commandments Exo 20, the festivals commanded by Yahweh Lev. 23, and the law of health otherwise known as food law or kosher law. Lev 11)
The Faith of Yahshua that means believing in Yahshua and accepting Him as the Messiah. The Redeemer of Israel. He is the means of reconciliation to the Eternal Father

These two main points, form the basic structure of the true worship of Yahweh which He established: of the laws of Yahweh and belief/established strict obedience acceptance of Yahshua as the sacrifice for forgiveness of sin and justification unto anyone that believes. These are the two things that comprise the true worship (Messianic Judaism) entrusted to no other people or nation than the Jews.
Thus, the Messiah rightly stated, “…for salvation is from the Jews…” (John 4:12). Are you looking for salvation? Are you searching for True Worship? Look towards the Jews; for unto them are committed the Oracles of Yahweh and the True Worship”, (Rom 3:1-2).
