The truth about the Kingdom of Yahweh forms an integral part of the message of salvation. It is the good news which Yahshua came to announce to mankind on earth! It is paramount that the Children of Yahweh be taught the truth about the kingdom of Yahweh to erase whatever misconceptions that have been embedded in their minds.
We were taught from childhood by the Christian Churches that when a righteous man dies, he goes to heaven and live forever. Whereas the sinners end up in a lake of fire that burns them for ever and ever.
To universalize this teaching that the righteous shall inherit the earth and that the true Messiah is coming back to establish His Kingdom on earth, has been ignored.
This doctrinal fallacy of spending eternity in heaven or perpetual torment in hell fire is not scriptural. It is at variance with the master plan of our Creator Yahweh. The prophets did not teach it, neither did the Saviour and His Apostles. Rather, it is the handwork of the Roman Catholic Church and Christian Churches.
The correct and true method of interpreting the Bible is to allow the Bible interpret itself. The Current method of Bible interpretation within various denominational Christianity is to locate a Scripture that can be manipulated to prove or consent to a doctrine they already believe in.
The prophets in the Old Testament, Mathew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 and Revelation are specific about the coming tribulations, the resurrection of saints, the second coming of the Messiah to set up a new world ruling government. What is this Government? Of whom is it?
WHAT IS MEANT BY THE KINGDOM OF YAHWEH?
A kingdom is a government with a King as its universal head. The kingdom of Yahweh is the government of Yahweh. It means that a time shall come when the Messiah, Yahshua shall descend from heaven to take over the rulership of the whole world, His headquarters being at Y’rushalayim (Jerusalem) “… Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the Kingdom to Yahweh, even the father; when He shall have put down all rule, and all authority and power.
“For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet…” 1 Cor. 15:24-28.
The “He”, here refers to the Messiah who shall subdue all the nations and armies of the earth and establish His Kingdom.
“And Yahweh shall be King over all the earth…” Zach. 14:9. As earlier said, His capital shall be in Jerusalem from where He will rule with iron hand.
“At that time, they shall call Jerusalem the throne of Yahweh and the nations shall be gathered unto it” Jer. 3:17.
Yahshua promised the saints that He is going to prepare a place for them (John 14:1-4). Surely, He was not referring to a place in heaven where they will dwell, rather, He was referring to position, status or level, in His Kingdom. So, the question is where will He be that we will be also?
Yahshua ascended into heaven to take His place at the right hand of Yahweh. Earning this place, He became our High Priest pleading to Yahweh on our behalf; soliciting for us, different positions and status in His kingdom to come.
Thus, His return to earth will be to take over the rulership as He would come with great power and authority heralding the commencement of His reign with the saints who will immediately be transformed into spirit beings (1 Thess. 4:16-17).
“And has made us unto our Eloah, Kings and Priests and we shall reign on the earth” Rev. 5:10.
This is where He will be that we will also be, not as mere individuals but as kings and priests ruling under Him. “…They shall be Priests of Yahweh and of the Messiah and shall reign with Him a thousand years” Rev. 20:6.
Yahshua, Himself shall be the number one citizen in His kingdom, second only to the Ancient of Days, who gave Him all power and Authority (1 Cor. 15:27-28). After His return, Yahshua will lead the descendants of ancient Israel out of captivity among the nations and into their ancient land where they will be settled, Amos 9:14-15, Ezek. 36:33-36. All the nations of the world will become submissive and obedient to Yahshua.
“…Men shall come and say, come and let us go to the mountain of Yahweh. To the house of the Elohim of Jacob; he will teach us His ways and we shall walk in his path…” Isa 2:3. Even the Gentile nations will obey Him, Isa 11:10. They will become Abraham’s children Gal. 3:29, as long as they believe in Yahshua and obey His Word.
However, the Gentile nations who do not come to Jerusalem to worship Yahweh shall be smitten with plagues as that done in Egypt (Zach. 14:16-18, Isa. 66:23-24).
What’s more, Zion will be transformed and the surrounding areas into a place resembling the Garden of Eden (Isa. 51:3).
Indeed, the whole world will come to know the truth about Yahweh and His coming kingdom (Jer. 31:34, Hab. 2:14).Yahshua Himself will teach this truth, He will re-educate the world, He will redirect the lost, He will re-energize the weak (Ps. 25:8-10, Isa. 2:3). His kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, which will be established here on earth and the saints will rule with Him.
“But the saints of the Most High shall take the kingdom and possess it forever and ever” Dan. 7:8.
“…The greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven shall be given to the saints of the Most High…” (Verse 27). Strive to be in that kingdom to come…Strive to qualify to reign with the Messiah…Strive to win the incorruptible crown!
