SCRIPTURES: Isa.65.1 – I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

“WE ARE BECAUSE HE IS” summarizes the fundamental relationship between Elohenu and humanity:
1. Elohenu’s existence precedes ours: He is the foundation of our being.
2. Our existence depends on Him: We rely on Yahweh for life, breath, and everything.
3. Yahweh’s being gives us being: Our existence is a gift from Him.
4. We are contingent, He is
necessary.
Elohenu’s existence is necessary, while ours is contingent on Him.
