Obey The Law

Written by mitziyonng

The universe, from centre to circumference is controlled by laws. Our Creator is a being of law and order. Everything in the universe and in human life is governed by law, and anything that violates this law will cause confusion and pain. Nothing can separate us from our union with the Creator if we submit to His law. It is in line with this that the holy book admonished us to obey those in authority. If therefore you desire good success here and after here, you must obey those in authority. If you fail to establish their law by observing it, you will have to take its penalty to establish it. Never claim to be wiser than the powers that be, because what the elder saw from the mountain foot, the younger may not see from the peak. Avoid rioting even when the authorities seem to be wrong. You may have good reason but you must never take laws into your hand. Be sure of what you do that you don’t lose what you have done. The Oak tree that resists the wind looses it branches one by one until none is left, but the one that bends for the wind survives.
“Give and it shall be given to you”, is a constant. The only way to develop muscles is to use them; the only way to keep them strong is to continually exercise them. All of life works in the same way. You cannot hold on to anything good. You must be continually giving and getting. You cannot hold on to your seed, you must sow it and reap anew. You cannot hold on to riches. You must use them and get other riches in return multiplied. If you want a miracle and if you pray for one, make some sincere offer of something you will do if you get it, not as a bargain, but as an act of love and thanksgiving. You must give to get. This is the law of growth. He that breathes in air for a long time without breathing out will choke to death. If you breathe in, you must breathe out for life to continue. It is more difficult to hold your breath than it is to breathe. Learn to give out.
More important than the above is this law called, “the law of attraction”, it states that: like attracts like. We attract the things that happen to us by our thoughts. Your circumstance is an effect; the cause is your thoughts. If you want to change any condition you don’t want, you must first change your thoughts about it. Change how you think about it. We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used in creating them. Do not focus your thought on what you don’t want, think what you want. As within, so without. As a man thinks so is he. Out of the heart are the issues of life. If you see it in your mind, you are going to hold it in your hands. We live from inside out. SEE WHAT YOU WANT, AND GET WHAT YOU SEE.
Success or failure comes from within. It is thoughts that are made flesh; material or circumstance. (AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH). Your current thought is creating your future life. Your experiences and feelings are always as a result of your thoughts. If you are feeling bad, it is because you are thinking thoughts that are making you feel bad. Change your thinking and your bad feeling will stop.
So it is with success, failure, lack or abundance. Make your life right in your mind by changing the frequency of your mind. Move to a positive frequency. Think abundance and have abundance. As a man thinks so is he. This is an unchangeable law of the universe. If you don’t want it, don’t think it. The principle is: garbage in, garbage out (GIGO). You need to keep your mind on what you want, not on what you don’t want. It is madness thinking evil and expecting good. How do you perceive yourself? Do you think of yourself as strong or weak, as effective or ineffective, as liked by others or disliked? Would you characterize yourself as well-to-do or poor, in harmony with yourself or in inner conflict, anxious and hostlile or kind and loving? Are you hard to get along with or easy? Self perception is important. Psychotherapists say that one of the most important factors in sickness or in health is an individual’s view of himself. Change a Man’s picture of himself and you may be able to change the man. Or at the very least, you will change his behavior.
Another factor that is important is the way in which we meet the things that happen to us everyday; whether or not we develop genuine relation to the people with whom we live and work, the animals that help us, the soil we till, the students we shape and the tools we use. If the axe and knife we use to work need to be sharpened for greater productivity, the personnel in our employ or anyone who helps us to do our work will also perform better if sharpened through some form of incentives or better condition of service.
If you pray for rain, carry an umbrella. Believe that your good desires are possible and begin to speak and act accordingly. Let not your life be a “lamentation house”. Speak good of yourself. Remember that, “by your words you will be condemned”. Your confession in your confusion concludes your condition. If you take the first step with a good thought, the second with a good speech, and the third with a good deed, you will enter paradise. Practice optimism. See the bright rising sun and laugh back at it. Laughter is hope’s last weapon. Only those who are firm in their faith can laugh in their dark hour. Laughter is appropriate even though we are surrounded by all manner of wrong and wickedness. It is written; “He who is of a merry heart has a continual feast”. Laughter is therapeutic as well as spiritual. No matter what comes against you in life, learn to laugh your way to victory. Refuse to allow circumstances dictate your happiness. When tough times come, that is the time to laugh, for He will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies.
Two great forces operate in the mind: fear and faith. Fear is very powerful but faith is more powerful. By faith do the thing you fear and fear will die. Human mind does not function creatively when it is hot (heated with anger or worry), only when it is cool can it deliver. Panic and hysteria disturb the mind, making it difficult for it to release insights. So the first step in solving problems is to achieve calmness. Be cool, calm and collected. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Relax, release the tension and refuse to let circumstances dominate your attitude. A divine promise says: “I will bring the blind by the way they know not”. We are by nature blind as to the way of salvation, but the Saviour leads us into it, and brings us into His kingdom. As to the future, we are all blind and cannot see even an hour before us; but our Guide will lead us even to our journey’s end. We cannot guess in which way deliverance can possibly come to us, but he knows and will lead us till we shall have escaped every danger. Blessed are those who place their hands in that of the Great Guide and leave their way and themselves entirely with Him.
IT IS WELL, Let Us Laugh.
