One of the events the Festival of Trumpet reminds us of is the coming of the Messiah. The Bible said, “…If in this life only we have hope in the Messiah, we are of all men most miserable (1Cor. 15:19).
The hope of every true and righteous believer in Yahushua is the coming of the Messiah. When will this His coming; which the Jews and non Jews have been waiting for to take place be? All the past events the Almighty Father Yahweh had done here on Earth took place at their appointed times, which is Mo-ed in Hebrew.
He brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt in the season of PASSOVER AND UNLEAVENED BREAD.
Yahushua came and died on the day of PASSOVER (14th Abib); also the Holy Spirit was given on the same day the Law was given on Mount Sinai.
So the coming of the Messiah must also be at the appointed season, which is the season of the Feast of Trumpet.
“But of the times and seasons Brethren, you have no need that I write unto you, because you know the set time in the Scriptures for the coming of the Messiah”,
(1Thess.5:1,4-5).
“But you, Brethren, are not in darkness, that, that day should overtake you as a thief. You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness”.
The coming of the Messiah will be sudden to the sinners as a thief in the night but to the believers who are truly the children of light in the world, it will not be sudden to them because they know the time and season of His coming.
The Bible said that He will come with the sound of the Trumpet.
“For Yahushua Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice the Archangel, and with the Trumpet of Yahweh and the dead in the Messiah shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet Yahushua in the air: and so shall we ever be with Him( 1Thess.4:16-18).
Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed,(1Cor. 15:51-52).
And the seventh Angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdom of YAHWEH, and His Messiah; and He shall reign for ever and ever,”(Rev. 11:15).
Lastly, the first man Adam was created in the seventh month (Tishri). It stands to reason that Yahushua the Messiah, the second Adam will be coming to take over the ruler ship of this world; any year it is going to be, it must be the seventh month (Tishri) and that season is the season of Trumpet or the Festival of Trumpet, that’s why Paul said to the Thessalonian believers ” you know THE TIME AND SEASON of His coming (1Thess.5::1).
