Are you about to travel? Yes! You are about to travel. Whether it is going to be tomorrow, next month or next year, or whether you still have a number of years ahead, definitely, you are going to travel. A very inevitable trip TO THE GREAT BEYOND.
It is a debt which you owe, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgement” Heb. 9:27. Joshua Son of Nun, the leader of Israel when he was about to make this travel, in his farewel speech, made this remarkable statement. “And behold, this day I am going (or traveling) the way of all the earth, and you know in all your heart and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which Yahweh your Elohim spoke concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.” (Josh. 24:14. I King 8:56).
So, it is the way of all the earth, for all human beings. Therefore, the question is not in whether you are going to make this trip or not. The most important question is: how are you preparing for this journey (to the great beyond), if it comes up today or tomorrow, next year or years ahead? The great patriarchs of old looked forward to this travel (Journey) with optimistic anticipation. Some of them even went to the extent of building their tombs or sepulchers in advance to show how prepared they were regarding this great journey. Today, can you prepare your tomb, your sepulcher? How prepared are you for this travel you are about to make? Let me use one analogy that may help you understand what I am saying. Think of an air-trip. If you want to travel to another country you must make sure your passport and documents are in order. The immigration is there to check all your papers and have you thoroughly screened to ensure you are not bringing in any item that is not wanted by the country where you are going. Even the state of your health will be examined, to ensure you do not carry any disease into the country
Now, do you know that sin is like a disease? In Israel, when a person has the disease of leprosy, he is examined by the priest and if proved true, he is separated from the community and not permitted to join his people.
Do you not know that sin is like that disease of leprosy? If you have that sin (which is breaking any of the laws (Torah) James 2:10-12), you have not repented from, and prepared to repent from, It still holds you on grips. Do you know that the Messiah(the High Priest) will turn His back and separate you from His kingdom (His community) when you make this travel, (1 John 2:28),” that when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming” Now you can go to the reference list and cross-check your luggage.
1 Corinth. 6:9-10, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of Yahweh? Be not deceived: Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor effeminates, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of Yahweh.”
Gal 5:19-21, “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are there Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, sedictions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of which I told you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of Yahweh.”
Col.3:5-10, “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanliness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: for which sake the wrath of Yahweh cometh on the children of disobedience: in which you also walked sometime, when you lived in them. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him.” 1 Pet. 2:11, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul”
The Oxford Dictionary of English Language defines the word pilgrim as person who travels to a sacred place as an act of religious devotion. Now have you seen that you are a pilgrim, a traveller, travelling to a sacred place, that is, the kingdom of Yahweh.
Therefore you must be careful to keep out of your
Now have you seen that you are a pilgrim, a traveller travelling to a sacred place, that is, the kingdom of Yahweh.
Therefore you must be careful to keep out of your luggage (your body and your life) anything that will prevent you from entering that city (the Kingdom of Yahweh).
Eph. 4:30-31, “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of Yahweh, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath and anger and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice”. Eph, 5:2-8, “Both fornication, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints,
Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting which are not convenient but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetousness man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the Kingdom of Yahweh and the Messiah” Let no man deceive you with vain words for because of these things cometh the wrath of Yahweh upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.”
You have been warned!
Check your luggage. Prepare for the travel, The flight may take off any moment without your notice. It calls for you to be prepared every moment (on the spot assessment). Do you have any of those illegal items in your luggage? REPENT NOW while there is still time!
