Who do you believe you are? And who do El-Shaddai says you are? How you answer these questions speaks volume on your identity and purpose in life. They are like hands and gloves; your purpose bears witness to your identity Matt.11:2-6; Lk.7:19-23; Jn.10:24,25. When the Messiah asked the question in the book of Matthew and Luke: whom do men says that I am? Peter’s answer was right because he answered only through revelational knowledge of the Sacred Scriptures, and not according to the flesh and blood Duet.18:15-19; Dan.9:25; Jn.1:35-42,45; Acts.17:2-4. Men with purpose are unknown, but yet well known; sorrowful, yet rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, yet possessing all things. Know you not friendship of the world is enmity with El-Shaddai. Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of El-Shaddai. The world would love their own. Therefore if your identity is defined by the worldly standard, your name is sorry: because they have also instill in you like-minded purpose for living: “WE WILL NOT HAVE HAVE THIS MAN REIGN OVER US”. When a man’s identity is not rooted in the history of faith, his background must surely bring his back to the ground Gen.12:1-3, 22:12,15-18; Gal.3:6-9.
Everything about Yahshua the Messiah before He manifested in the flesh was already written in the law and the prophets. So, He came into the world to fulfill those promises made unto the fathers which El had spoken before by the mouth of His prophets in the holy Scriptures, that was His purpose of coming into the world Roms.15:8. Therefore anyone, or anything that tried to make Him deviate from that purpose He came to fulfill was against the will of the Father that sent Him Ps.40:6-8; Heb.10:6-10; His response was always you are an offence: get thee behind me, Satan: you are not mindful of the things that be of El. Satan is the adversary, the god of this world, and the prince of the power of the air; the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience. As pilgrims and sojourners, one thing is sure and certain, life is all about CHOICE. Identity is a choice, and Purpose is as well a choice; the question is, whose will are you fulfilling? The Father’s or Satan? Jn.8:40-47 But the love of the Messiah constraints us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then we’re all dead: and that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known the Messiah after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in the Messiah he is A NEW CREATURE (IDENTITY:) old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new.
We identified the identity and purpose of our Master Yahshua the Messiah through the writings of the law and the prophets; but how can we Identify our own identity and purpose? We also do that through the Sacred Scriptures, but not according to the Prophetic program, but through the mystery program given to apostle Paul as the master builder, and the apostle of the Gentiles. 1). Who do I believe I am? Our old identity in Adam has been crucified with the Messiah that the body of sin might be destroyed; and we have been circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of the Messiah: buried with Him by baptism into death, wherein also we are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of El, who has raised Him from the dead; that our faith and hope should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the POWER AND WISDOM OF EL. We have been joined together with Him by one Spirit, and are now members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. If it be so, then it is obvious that we share one identify in Him as the head of the body. Therefore in essence, I am a member of the body of the Messiah, a new creature Col.3:11, called out of the world; and sanctified or set apart by the Holy Spirit unto good works which the Father had ordained that I should walk in them.
2). What is my Purpose? We are committed with the ministry of reconciliation, the preaching of the cross. To make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which has been kept secret since the world began. To whom El would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is the Messiah in us the hope of glory. Whom we preach, and teaching every man, in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in the Messiah. That our hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of El, and of the Father, and of the Messiah; in Whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And for the lack of this knowledge men are destroyed.
A man that has identity in the Messiah, and endowed with the purpose, and knowledge of Him that created him has the mind of the Creator the Messiah, not self centered, or selfish; he pleases not himself, but his neighbour for his good to edification; he esteem other better than himself 1Cor.10:24. He is a man of faith; and being justified by faith, HE HAS PEACE WITH EL THROUGH THE MASTER AND SAVIOUR YAHSHUA THE MESSIAH: BY WHOM ALSO HE HAS ACCESS BY FAITH INTO THIS GRACE WHEREIN HE STAND, AND REJOICE IN GLORY OF THE FATHER. He is bold and confidence. He is gracious and full of compassion, and righteous. He shows favour and gives: he guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he shall not be moved forever: he shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in Yahweh. He is not jealous or envy, but has learned, in whatsoever state he is in, to be content. He knows how to be abased, and how to be abound: every where and in all things he is instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. HE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH THE MESSIAH THAT STRENGTHENS HIM. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. He gives to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted with honour. The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; they shall gnash away with their teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish. Shalom.
