I’m strongly convinced that history and prophecy are knit together in the operation of the plan and purpose of the Father Yahweh. History gives birth to prophecy; therefore it would be of a great detriment or damage when history is ignored in the interpretation of any prophecy in the Sacred Scripture. Without the history of Abraham or David, we would not have had the prophecy of the promise of the coming of the Messiah for the Salvation of mankind, or the establishment of the kingdom of Yahweh; the two are inter twine. That is why the “Oburu naha uzo muta diopkaras” calls me a historian. Onye anoghi ebe anoro nie ozu, asi ya bowa ya, osi na opka”. Consider the narrative of Luke .” FORASMUCH as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, even as they delivered them unto us, which from the begining were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word Lk.1:1,2. Think of beloved brother Stephen when he narrated the history of Israel from the father Abraham to David’s desire to build a house for Yahweh Acts.7:1-53. You can’t give what you don’t have. When you lack knowledge of the history of the Scripture, you will result to motivational preaching and scriptural spiritualization.
Therefore, it seems good to me also, having had perfect teaching and understanding from my spiritual father and mother; and the grace of our Master is exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in the Messiah Yahshua, I could accurately discuse the will of Yahweh for man. I will begin with the will of the Father for Yahshua. According to the words of king David the son of Jesse, the man who was raised on high, the anointed of the Elohim of Yacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel. The Spirit of Yahweh spoke by Him, and His word was in his tongue. Sacrifice and offering thou did not desire; mine ears has thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering has thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come in the volume of the book (the Sacred Scripture) it is written of me, TO DO YOUR WILL, O MY ELOHIM: YES, THY LAW IS WITHIN MY HEART. When He said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings, and offering for sin thou did not want, neither did You have pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; then said He, LO, I COME TO DO THY WILL, EL-ELION, HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIST, THAT HE MIGHT ESTABLISH THE SECOND. What was the first that He took away, that He might establish the second? The covenant of the law, and to establish the covenant of promise Gen.22:15-18; Is.49:5-9; Acts.3:19-26, 26:15-18. Yahshua the Messiah was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of El, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers. That the Gentiles might glorified the Father for His mercy; as it is written, for this cause I will confess thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto your name. And again, Praise the Master, all you Gentiles; and loud Him, all you people. And again, Isaiah said, there shall be a root of Jesse, and He shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in Him shall the Gentiles trust. What then is the will ? All we like sheep had gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and Yahweh had laid upon Him the iniquity of us all. He delivered Him up for our offences, and raised Him up again for our justification. It pleased the Father to bruised Him, He did put Him to grief, HE MADE HIS SOUL AN OFFERING FOR SIN, AND HE WILLINGLY AND OBEDIENTLY ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF THE FATHER HUMBLED AND OFFERED HIS SOUL UNTO DEATH, EVEN TO THE DEATH OF THE CURSE OF THE CROSS. AND WHEN THE FATHER SAW THE TRAVAIL OF HIS SOUL, HE WAS WELL PLEASED FOR HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE, FOR HE HAD MAGNIFIED THE LAW AND MADE IT HONORABLE; BY HIS KNOWLEDGE SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS SERVANT JUSTIFY US BECAUSE HE HAD BORNE OUR INIQUITY.
But He went to His own people Israel first, and they received Him not; He became a stumbling block, a rock of offence to them. Him being delivered by the determinate counsel, and foreknowledge of El, Israel took Him, by wicked hands and crucified and slain Acts.13:26-30. But the Elohim of their fathers has glorified His Son Yahshua: Whom they delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go. But they denied the Holy One, and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto them. They killed the Prince of Life, Whom El, has raised from the dead, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be held of it Ps.16:8-11; Acts.13:32-40. And the times of this ignorance El winked at; but now commanded every one to repent: because He has appointed a day in the which HE WILL JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY THAT MAN WHOM HE HAS ORDAINED; WHEREOF HE HAS GIVEN ASSURANCE UNTO ALL MEN, IN THAT HE HAS RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD Ps.9:8, 96:13, 98:9; Roms.2:16. Just as the gospel of the circumcision was committed to Peter, to make known that will of the Father to them Acts.3:15-26; so also the gospel of the circumcision was given to Paul to make known that will of the Father to us 1Tim.2:3-6; Tit.1:1-3.
When Ananias met with Saul after his meeting with Yahshua the Messiah on his way to Damascus, he said to him, brother Saul, the Elohim of our fathers has chosen you, that YOU SHOULD KNOW HIS WILL, AND SEE THAT JUST ONE, AND SHOULD HEAR THE VOICE OF HIS MOUTH. What is that will? This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that the Messiah Yahshua came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, THAT IN ME FIRST YAHSHUA THE MESSIAH MIGHT SHEW FORTH ALL LONG-SUFFERING, FOR A PATTERN TO THEM WHICH SHOULD HEREAFTER BELIEVE ON HIM TO LIFE EVERLASTING Acts.13:39. For this is good and acceptableb in the sight of El our Saviour; Who “WILL” have all men to be “SAVED,” and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one Elohim, and one Mediator between El and men, the Man, Messiah Yahshua. Who gave Himself a Ransome for all to be testified in due time. To open our eyes, and turn us from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto El, that we may receive forgiveness of sin, and inheritance among them that is in Yahshua the Messiah.
The Father revealed His will to the Son; the Son accomplished it, and revealed it to His apostles to give it to us through the gospel; we are without excuse. How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace. For faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of El. Now the Elohim of peace, Who has brought again from the dead our Master Yahshua, His Excellency, His Majesty, the Judge of the living and the dead; the glory of the invisible Elohim, and the express image of His person, that great Shepherd of the sheep, and the Bishop of our soul, through His Blood of the everlasting covenant make me perfect in every good work to do your will, working in me that which is well pleasing in your sight, through Yahshua the Messiah; to Whom be glory forever and ever.
