I will always maintain my position that the defence of the gospel of the Messiah is equally vital as the propagation of it; because grace message speaks of those things in which some things are difficult to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures unto their own destruction. The grace message teachers are always seen as those who turn things upside down; but why? Because grace doctrines are contrary to, and in opposition to what people are used to hearing from their respective pulpits. Example: Grace message teaches such things as: people will end up in hell not because of what they have done, but for what they had refused to do, in rejecting the counsel of Yahweh’s will against themselves, not believing on Him through His Son’s death, burial, and resurrection for them to appear in His presence: to the praise of the glory of His grace Jn.3:15-20; Acts.17:30,31; Roms.2:16; 2Thess.1:8-10; Heb.3:18,19, 4:3-11; 1Jn.5:9-12. Precious in His sight, is the death of His saint. The Father is not a respecter of persons, neither does He take bribe; but as He thought so shall it come to pass, and as He purposed so shall it stand. We are not sinners because of our personal sins, but our sins bears witness of the Sin in us from birth Roms.7:18-23. O wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Ps.51:5; Roms.7:24,25. We are spiritually dead from birth, powerless to approach El-Shaddai on our own. An impassible and insurmountable barrier confines us because of Adam’s sin Gen.3:22-24. The justice of El-Shaddai errected a barrier which only El-Shaddai Himself can eliminate or remove; no human effort can release us from our prison. Therefore the Messiah is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father Eph.2:14-18: Boasting is excluded.
Sin in the original language, the grammatical construction of the word is in the singular, and also has the definite article “the” before it, which signifies that it is not about personal sins, but Sin as an entity, and this entity in us, is the propensity to sin: inherited in our physical body. We have a body of Sin, and it is where the Sin nature resides that is antagonistic to the Father Yahweh. The element of our human nature that emanated from Satan Jn.8:38-44; 1Jn.3:8. Sin is the cause of the moral ruin of the human race: and the proof is death. Death is universal, all die: little children, adults, moral people, educated elites, religious fanatics, the rich and the poor, equally with the depraved. For such a universal effect, there must be a universal cause: and that cause is the state of universal Sin. But such a universal state must have had a cause? Yes, it did: the consequence of Adam’s sin Roms.5:12,17-19. Personal sins are not meant here, because from Adam to the given of the law (of Moses), Sin was in the world, but since there was no law, personal guilt was not imputed. But death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression Roms.5:13,14. It then follows that it was due to a universal sinful state, or nature, and that nature is declared to be our inheritance from Adam, who is the head of all human race; in Adam all die. The sin nature is an integral part of every human body, it resides in the cell structure of the human body. The Sin nature was acquired originally by Adam at his fall, and it is subsequently passed down genetically to all mankind through procreation. The result is both spiritual death, and total depravity of all humanity, except Yahshua the Messiah.
The natural state of the fallen man is in two dimensions: 1). The Sin, as the nature of man; and 2). sins which are the manifestation of that nature working out in man, and making him a “sinner” Roms7:12-17; 1Jn.1:8,10. We sin because it is in our nature; a fruit does not fall far from it’s tree. So in Salvation, the Father Yahweh gives us a new nature: His righteousness through His Son Yahshua the Messiah Roms.8:10; 2Cor.5:21: the second man of the new creation by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness 2Cor.5:16,17. Spiritual death was the first casualty man suffered after the fall (the separation from El-Shaddai). The meaning of death is to be separated from life. The ultimate name of life is Yahweh Himself. And to be spiritually dead is to be separated from Him Who is a spirit giving life Roms.8:1-4. Man’s spirit separated from the Father is spiritual death; just as man’s spirit separated from his body is physical death. We all come into this world with no ability, no way, or capacity to establish relationship, or fellowship with the Father, neither do we want to, or having any merit with Him. Yahweh is holy, and righteous in nature; He dwells on high and holy place, separated from sin and sinners. But He is so rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses and sins, has quickened us together with His Son by grace are we saved; and has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in His Son. These are the two distinct issues working against us from birth; and for these two reasons, the scripture in 1Jn.1:8,10 stated the two distinct postions as convicting statements: if we say we have no “Sin”, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Secondly, if we say we have not sinned, we made Him a liar, and His word is not in us Roms.7:18-23. We are sinners by constitution rather than by actions; by heredity and parentage, and not in behavior (we know what we are doing, but the cause of our actions eludes us). At the beginning of our Christian race, we are more concerned with our doings, and not with our being. We are distressed by what we have done, than what we are. But not only that we have done is wrong, but we ourselves internally, also are wrong. Unless we change our parentage from Adam to Abraham Gen.3:20; Is.51:1,2; Gal.3:6-8; and from the first man to the second man Gen.5:1,2; 1Cor.15:45-49: we remain sinners, and in enmity, and children of disobedience destined to wrath Roms.5:9-11; 1Thess.1:10, 5:9,10. But if we were born sinners, how can we cut off our sinful heredity? Seeing that we were born in Adam. How can we get out of him that is in enmity with the Father Yahweh.
There is only one way. Since we came in by birth, we must go out by death. To do away with our sinfulness, we must do away with our sinful body Roms.7:24,25. Bondage to Sin came by birth, therefore the deliverance from bondage can only come from death Roms.6:3-7; Gal.2:20; Col.1:21,22. The blood of Yahshua can wash away our sins, but it cannot wash away our personality; our old man need the cross to be crucified. The blood procured our pardon for what we have done, while the cross procured our deliverance from who we are Eph.1:7, 2:14-16, Col.1:13,14. The all inclusive death of Yahshua the Messiah has forever freed us from the bondage of Sin Roms.6:6,7, 8:10. This is the divine way of escape the Father has provided. Death is the secret of emancipation that the Father had intended, and this should lead us to our practical deliverance front Sin. The way of deliverance from Sin is seen in the picture of the relationship between a master (Sin), and a slave (the sinner). When the slave dies, the master continues to live, but his power over the slave extends as far as the grave, and no further Roms.6:6,7. We are forever freed from its tyranny Roms.8:10. Thus through the body of the Messiah, we are not only dead to Sin, but are alive in the presence of the Father Yahweh through resurrection Roms.6:11; Col.1:22. The Father has made an adequate provision that we should be set free from the dominion of Sin: and if the Son therefore has made us free, we are free indeed Jn.8:34,35; Roms.6:6,7; Gal.5:1. We are dead “to” Sin (separated from it) and are united with Yahshua by one spirit in His resurrection 1Cor.6:14,17. Shall we continue “in” Sin that grace may abound? is a rhetorical question: how can we that are dead “to” Sin, separated “from” it, live therein any longer? It is in direct contradiction with the doctrine of Deliverance: for we are not under the law but under grace Roms.6:12-14, 8:1-4; Gal.5:1,4.
The way of victory over Sin is through identification with our divine Representative from heaven in His substitutionary vicarious victory over Sin by baptism into death; and His identification with us in resurrection Roms.6:3-7, Roms.8:6-11. A profound spiritual psychological insight, personified the struggle between the two natures Gal.5:16-18. The old inherited Adamic nature is always in conflict with the new spiritual nature received as a new creature. If the Father has dealt with us in His Son, then let us remain in Him to sustain our freedom and victory over Sin. Knowing this that every man in his best state is altogether vanity; and to him that works is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt; who has given Him first, that He will recompense him? But to him that works not but believing on Him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness Roms.3:24-32, 8:33; 1Pet.1:14-21. Justification is that righteousness of the Father Yahweh which judicially is given to all that believe on the finished work of the Messiah on the cross Phi.3:7-9. Don’t be just a hearer, but more of a doer. If you are frustrated as a believer, it is because you have refused to crucify the flesh 2Cor.5:14-17; Gal.2:19-21. You have not been reckoned or internalized this doctrinal truth in you. You have not entered the oven, but still in the flesh, claiming to be a part of a spiritual body which headship is of the Spirit; you can’t win: why not let go, and let El-Shaddai perfect that which He only started in you.
The sinner upholds the law that it is just and holy by accepting his guilt and condemnation Roms.7:7-14; and the Messiah on the sinner’s behalf, upholds the law in obedience by keeping its precepts, and enduring its penalty of death on the cross Mat.5:17-19; Roms.8:1-4; phi.2:5-11; Heb.2:9,10. No offender of this glorious, excellent, wonderful, and beautifil victory will eventually rejoice Heb.10:29; Ps.22:25-31. Shalom. 2Cor.2:17; 13:8.
