The story of the present world is that of unrest, insecurity, chaos, and conflict. It’s getting worse by day! People of same nationalities are turning against themselves; nations are rising against nations; high cost of living is spiralling in virtually all nations; droughts, hunger, and starvation is becoming the refrain of nations. Diseases, pestilences, and different sicknesses unknown to humanity are emerging. There are wars and rumours of wars in different parts of the world. Earthquake and landslides are increasing. We hear about climate change on daily basis. All efforts have been made in the past and present by the world leaders, politicians, corporate leaders, religious leaders, fathers, mothers, etc to deal with these tensions, yet the chaos seem to be getting worse. Different continental and regional bodies such as United Nations Organisation (UNO), World Bank, World Health Organisation, regional organisations e.g. African Union (AU), European Union (EU), North American Union (NAU); North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) etc, have been making efforts to proffer solutions to world economic, political, religious and social unrest, yet no solution is on sight.
Why is human suffering increasing despite serious efforts being made to mitigate or solve it? Why is it that no solution is found? Where is the solution?
The answers are found only in the Book of Covenant (Bible) where YAHWEH, the Creator of Heaven and Earth Commands that human beings should HEAR HIS VOICE AND KEEP HIS COVENANT. IF they obey Him, they shall live in peace and eat the abundance of the earth. But if they rebel (the disobedient), they’ll suffer and perish. Instead of mankind listening to YAHWEH, they turned to obey the adversary – Satan who oppose YAHWEH’S instructions. As the result of forsaking and forgetting YAHWEH, and following WICKED WAYS, the world created out of chaos – is today plunged into evil, wickedness, diseases, hardship, hunger, wars, etc. The BIG problem of humanity today is the worship of Satan the devil (Jn. 8:44). I reiterate, the major trouble of humanity today is the worship of Satan – “the God of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4). Service to Satan is the reason everything is chaotic and under a curse for destruction. Below are some of what YHWH commanded:
“YHWH commanded us to observe all these statutes [Laws], to fear YHWH our FATHER, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day. Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before YHWH our FATHER, as He has commanded us.” (Deut. 6:24-25)
“You shall diligently keep the commandments of YHWH your FATHER, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you. And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of YHWH, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which YHWH swore to your fathers…” (Deut. 6:17-18)
“Then it shall be, if you by any means FORGET YHWH YOUR FATHER, and follow Gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.” (Deut. 8:19; also see Exod. 23:13; Hosea 13:4).
“The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,
Because they have transgressed the laws,
Changed the ordinance,
Broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore the curse has devoured the earth,
And those who dwell in it are desolate.
Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,
And few men are left.” (Isaiah 24:5-6)
The instructions above are not only for Yisrayah; it’s also for the whole world. Unfortunately, the whole world has forgotten Him for worship of Baal – the Lord and God of this world called Satan. Following human disobedience, YHWH’S everlasting Covenant Law has been broken and cast down. The whole world today lives in total disobedience, and are being plunged into chaos. Therefore, the earth is under a curse and death that await the children of disobedience. But the GOOD NEWS is that YAHSHUA would return to save the obedient as Satan plans to wipe out the world through wars, diseases, and famine. Eventually, the obedient will be saved and will live with Him in His Kingdom for ever.
SOLUTION
What do we do? Let’s recognise and receive the Saviour of the World – YAHSHUA MASHIACH – and obey YAHWEH’s commandments, and worship HIM (see Rev. 14:7-11,12). By doing so, and by His grace, He shall save us. Return to Him with clear conscience!
