John said Satan has deceived the whole world. Truly Satan has deceived this world, for he has this whole world following are religion, that has commanded and enforced upon the world the keeping of days which Elohim never commanded in the writings of the law or the Prophets, or in the writings of the Apostles. This world is blindly following a religion that changed Elohim’s holy Sabbath, the seventh day of the week, to a day which the nations all down through history worshipped their sun gods on. And this day is Sunday. People today honestly believe that by keeping Sun- day as their day of rest, that they are showing respect unto the Messiah. They believe the so called New Testament teaches that Yahshua the Messiah rose on Sunday morning. They also believe that the Apostles set aside Sunday as a day to come together and worship. Therefore, they believe they are showing honor to the Messiah’s Resurrection by keeping Sunday.
The truth is, the Messiah never rose from the grave on Sunday morning, the Apostles never worshipped on Sunday. These are just myths Satan made up to keep the people deceived into following the religion that enforced the keeping of Sunday on the whole world during the Middle ages. In the 7th chapter of Daniel, Daniel spoke of four world empires, which he compared to four Beasts, that would rise up in and around the Mediterranean Sea. The first world ruling kingdom to rise up was the kingdom of Babylon. This kingdom ruled from the time it was started by Nimrod, Gen. 10:8,10, until 539 B.C.E. It was compared to a Lion. The next kingdom to rule was the Medea and Persia kingdom, it was compared to a Bear. It reigned from 539 B.C.E. unti1l 331 B.C.E. The third kingdom which was compared unto a Leopard was the Grecian empire. It ruled under Alexander the Great until 323 B.C.E. At the death of Alexander the Grecian empire was divided among his four Generals. The fourth world ruling empire was the Roman Empire, it was compared unto the fourth beast Daniel saw. The Roman Empire rose up out of the ruins of the Grecian empire. Daniel said that out of this last beast or empire, which is Rome, would arise a ruler who would take over the Roman Empire. Out of the ruins of the Roman Empire in the years of 180 C.E. until 476 С.Е. arose the Papal Empire, or the Roman Catholic Church, which ruled with or through the Popes. Therefore, the Roman Catholic Church took over Rome and ruled the world throughout the middle Ages.
It was the Rulership, the Roman Catholic Church, that enforced upon the world during the Middle Ages the keeping of Sunday. For Daniel said of this rulership- “And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and they (the saints) shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time (3 years).” Dan. 7:25. When the Roman Catholic Church began to come into power over the Roman Empire, it began to enforce upon the world its pagan holy days, such as Sunday the day they Worshipped the sun. The Emperor Constantine converted to the Roman Catholic Church in 312 C.E. and in 321 C.E. under the guidance of the Church enforced upon the Roman empire the keeping of Sunday. Encyclopedia Britannica, ninth edition, article, “Sunday” “The earliest recognition of the observance of Sunday as a legal duty is a constitution of Constantine in 321 A.D., enacting that all courts of justice, inhabitants of towns, and workshops were to be at rest on Sunday (venerabili die Solis…”).
“Unquestionably the first law, either ecclesiastical or civil, by which the sabbatical observance of that day (Sunday) is known to have been ordained, is the edict of Constantine, 321 A.D.” Chambers Encyclopedia, article, “Sabbath”. Constantine enforced Sunday upon the Roman empire, and he did this under the guidance of the Roman Church. For he converted to Christianity or to the Roman Church in 312 C.E. and enforced Sunday in 321 C.E. Therefore, it was the Roman Church which actually enforced it. It fulfilled the Prophecy of Daniel the 7th chapter. It changed Yahweh’s Sabbath the 7th day of the week to Sunday the first day of the week. The Roman Catholic Church admits in her writings to have done this very thing. “Abridgment of Christian Doctrine”, by Henry Tuberville, D.D., of Douay College, France, P. 58. “Question- How prove you that the Church has power to command feasts and holy days? “Answer By the very act of changing the Sabbath into Sunday, which the Protestants allow of; and therefore they fondly contradict themselves by keeping Sunday strictly, and breaking most other feast days commanded by the Church.” “A Doctrinal Catechism, by Stephen Keenan, P. 174. “Question Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept? Answer: Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her, she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday, the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.”
Kansas City Catholic, Feb. 9. 1893- “The Catholic Church of its own infallible authority created Sunday a holy day to take the place of the Sabbath of the Old Law.” The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrines, by Peter Geiermann, C. SS. R., P. 50, third edition, 1913- Question-Which is the Sabbath day? Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day. Question– Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the Council of Laodicea 364 C. E., transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.”
We are able to see from this, that the Catholic Church by its own writings admits to have changed the Sabbath which Elohim throughout the law commanded to be kept to Sunday a day Yahweh did not command to keep. And they enforced it upon the world all throughout her reign. Throughout her reign, there were penalties placed upon those who refused to keep her pagan Sunday. What the Church actually did was enforce upon the world her pagan sun worship, because this is all that Sunday keeping was ever connected to; the worship of sun-gods. The Collier’s Encyclopedia, article “Sunday” “To understand the meaning and significance of Sunday as the first day of the week it is necessary to consider the five contributions which have been made to its place in the Calendar and unto its manner of observances (1) the worship of the sun among ancient peoples, (2) the popularity of Mithraism among the Romans, (3) the Roman observance of the day of the sun, (4) the early Christian dedication of the first day of the week as a memorial of the resurrection of Christ, and (5) the Scottish Presbyterian conception of Sunday as a day of rest and the adoption of this conception by Puritan Massachusetts, with the resulting Sunday laws, usually known as blue laws.”
From prehistoric times to the close of the fifth century of the Christian era the worship of the sun was dominant. Defied in Egypt as Ra, the sun god, he is pictured in the oldest passages of the Pyramid texts. The sun-disk (Aton) with the out spread wings of the falcon became the most generally used symbol of the Egyptian religion. In Babylon, cylinder seals picture the sun as a deity coming forth through open doors which attendants hold open for him, at the same time turning their faces away so as not to be blinded by his brightness. When the Israelites entered Palestine they found the worship of the sun under the name of Baal-hammon, the latter part of this title meaning sun-images. At an early date the mystery cult of Mithra or Mithras arose in Persia. In Zoroastrianism he is named Yazata, a power of light serving as aide to Ahura-Mazda. In the valley of the Euphrates he attained the eminence of an Assyrian god Mithraism reached Rome in the second century B.C.E. It became popular in the Roman army, in the commercial class, and among the slaves and eventually was adopted by the Roman emperors because it supported the divine right of kings. From very ancient times, the Romans had marked each eight day as a holiday (Sunday). It is not surprising, since they were influenced not only by the favored cult of Mithras but also by the Egyptian cult in North Africa that they gradually came to observe a holiday dedicated to the sun.
By this we can see that down through history the nations kept Sun- day as a holiday dedicated to the Sun. Therefore, when the Roman Catholic Church enforced Sunday on the world, she was enforcing the sun worship on the world. And this is the same old pagan sun worship that began after the flood with Nimrod the founder of Babylon. According to Gen. 10:8,10, Nimrod was the founder and ruler of Babylon. The Babylonians worshipped the sun-god. For the sun was pictured as a deity coming forth through open doors which attendants held open for him. According to history Nimrod set himself up in Babylon as a mighty one, or a deity and he taught that he was the sun-god, that he came out of the sun. This was the first false religion after the flood, and it spread throughout the nations. For every last one of them worshipped the sun-god, only under a different name. It all goes back to Nimrod. John in the 13th chapter of Revelation saw the very same fourth beast that Daniel saw in Daniel 7. He pictured it like unto a Leopard, with feet like a Bear, and a mouth of a Lion. The Lion in Daniel the 7th chapter represented the kingdom of Babylon. Nimrod founded Babylon. Therefore, the fourth beast, which as we have seen was Rome, and the Roman Church arose out of it and would speak with the mouth of Babylon. In other words, the Roman Catholic Church would speak the same doctrines, the same religion as Babylon or Nimrod which was sun worship. This is exactly what it teaches.As we have seen Sunday, the first day of the week has always been a day dedicated to the sun throughout history in every nation. The name Sunday in itself means the day of the sun, not only in English, but also in Latin, and in Greek, and other languages.
This whole world has been deceived into keeping a day, which was enforced upon the world by a religion which teaches the doctrines of an ancient sun worship. And they deceive themselves into believing that the New Testament teaches Sunday.
Sunday is not even mentioned in the New Testament. Every place in the New Testament where the first day of the week is mentioned, such as in Acts 20:6,7, and 1 Cor. 16:2, in the Greek it says “ONE OF THE WERKS”. It has reference unto the count of the weeks between Passover and Pentecost. For the law commands that on the 16th day of the Month Abib or Nisan there was to begin the count of seven weeks unto Pentecost or Shavuot, Lev. 23:6-16,21, Deut. 16:8,10. And if you will notice Acts 20:6-7,16 and 1 Cor. 16:2-8, you will find these Scriptures speaking of the same time – between Passover and Pentecost. They are speaking of the count of weeks, and not a particular day.
In Matt. 28:1,6 shows that Yahshua did not rise from the tomb on Sunday morning. The Scripture says, “IN THE END OF THE SABBATH, as it began to dawn toward (one of the weeks) came Miriam Magdalene and the other Miriam to see the sepulcher. Verse six shows that Yahshua had already risen. The word “end” in this verse is the same Greek word that was translated “EVEN” in Mark 11:19, and Mark 13:35. The word “dawn” in this verse is the same Greek word that was translated “DREW ON”, “DREW NEAR”, “DREW NIGH” in Luke 23:54, and in Luke 24:15,28. Therefore, the correct Scripture reading is this “In the EVENING OF THE SABBATH, AS IT BEGAN TO DRAW NEAR, OR NIGH, OR TOWARD ONE OF THE WERKS came Miriam Magdalene and the other Miriam to see the sepulcher.”
Yahshua rose on the evening of the 7th day Sabbath, not on Sunday morning. Don’t be deceived into following the Babylonian sun worship of Nimrod by keeping a day dedicated to the sun. COME OUT OF THE FALSE RELIGION OF BABYLON! Yahshua the Messiah is coming soon, and He is going to bring Yahweh’s wrath down on the religion of Babylon, the religion that has forced Sunday on the world, and deceived the world into keeping it. “COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE” Rev. 18.1-8.
